Our Review

The Rubens at the Palace lies at the heart of London's biggest tourist attractions, opposite Buckingham Palace and a short walk from Westminster Abbey. There are hardly any hotels in London that win such strong and consistent praise from customers for service, décor, comfort and amenities as the Rubens at the Palace. It’s a true winner! One of the top hotels in London.

Originally built in 1911, the Rubens at the Palace is an ideal base in London, blending the magnificence and splendour of a bygone age with latest in modern comforts and technology. Stepping into the opulent lobby, you’ll find gleaming chandeliers, rich décor and helpful, discreet and attentive staff. The 143 guestrooms are beautifully furnished and independently air-conditioned. Each one also has high-speed Internet access and a state-of-the-art entertainment system including interactive TV, a huge selection of on-demand movies, and a music library. All the rooms are impeccably maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms.
The hotel offers a variety of dining options. Designed in the style of a traditional carvery with high ornate ceilings and chandeliers, The Old Masters' Restaurant has many succulent roasts on offer daily, and is well known for its Aberdeen Angus beef selected from the finest Scottish herds. Alternatively, richly embroidered fabrics and large comfortable armchairs compliment the intimate atmosphere of the Library Restaurant, where guests can enjoy award winning English and international cuisine accompanied by the finest of wines. And last but not least, the Palace Lounge is where friends meet for drinks, snacks, or the hotel’s famous afternoon tea of freshly baked scones, finger sandwiches, and homemade cakes.
